Chick has overlapping toes

This little guy was an assisted hatch. After zipping, it stalled for more than 12 hours and was obviously too weak to progress. 24 hours later, it's up and about, eating and drinking with the others.

However, it tends to fall over a bit. I think it may be caused by this foot. When it stands and walks, the 2nd and 3rd outer toes overlap.

Is there anything we can do to correct it

You can try to place a piece of tape on bottom and top, to keep the toes separated. I would use Athletic tape as first choice. You can use what you have but avoid really strong adhesion type. Change daily, since the foot grows much.
