I don't have any pics right now but one of my australorp chicks has a soft beak. It also looks slightly deformed. Not so you'd notice from a casual glance. She is very weak.
Does anyone know what causes this? Is it poor breeding or a nutritional deficiency?
We have a dozen chicks all together. A couple of the others are acting slow and weak. The rest are all strong and busy though.
They are feed store (hatchery) chicks. Three weeks old.
