I have a silver laced wyandotte. She is 9 or 10 days old. 1 week ago she wasn't standing very well and leaning to one side as if her leg wasn't working very well, so I moved her to a box to be alone so she wouldn't get pecked by the others. She doesn't look to be growing much. Today I just brought home 6 more chicks that are 4 days old and she's their size. Anyway. I put her back in w/ the other chicks today. She was walking more and seemed to be doing better. Tonight I noticed a bump or swelling on her foot. (I think it's the same chick I hope). I looked into bumblefoot, but it doesn't look like that's what it is to me. I also read about a tendon maybe being slipped, but it doesn't appear to be that either. She has been eating the chick starter w/ antibiotics and drinking just fine. Poop is normal too. I have pine bedding in the brooder. None of the other chicks seem to have any problems. I did have one die the night they came home. It appeared to have something wrong w/ it's foot, but no swelling. Here are the photo's hopefully someone can help me. Thanks
