Chick hatch with cord

I have a baby chick that looks like he still has he abrical(sp) cord. Is that normal ? Is their anything that I need to do ? Well it make it ? Any help will be greatly appreciate. It is a silkie if that matters.

Depend's on how bad it is.Sometime's if it's just a rough bit sometime's they will survive.Let Us know how it does and good luck. DG

So far he is still lining. It is now where near as bad as it was he has move out into the brooder. It look like it has dried up and it is really hard. I am hoping it finally falls off. I was afraid to remove, I am keeping my finger crossed.

I think he is going to be fine now. The cord fell off and he is doing great !
