Chick hatched but doesnt seem right

Hi! Had a dark brahma chick hatch overnight. Hatch itself went fine, but i noticed he doesnt move so great. When he tries to walk, he just ends up going backwards or flopping to his side. He also does this wierd thing with his head. Was able to get a video. Any thoughts?

How long ago did the chick hatch? It takes a bit for a newly hatched chick to figure out how to be upright in this world l.

I have not done this, but there are vitamins you can put in a chicks water that can sometimes help.

Sounds like wry neck. Is it keeping its head kinda tucked down between its legs and walking backwards?

Wry neck is more or less a deficiency. I can’t remember the finer details so I suggest you do some researching of your own. I treated it successfully with b12 complex and vitamin E liquid capsules. Mixed the two with a bit of raw egg and fed it to the chick a couple times a day. Also added poultry vitamins and mineral to their water.
