Absorbed! PLS help!? Should I put Blue Kote on the part not absorbed? There are only two chicks in chick "ICU" and it seems to be doing ok but just hasn't absorbed the little spot...it's about the size of a very small pea? Maybe like the size of a large piece of their crumble food...

I'd just let it be. The less you fuss with them, the better their chances. Chickens have been hatching for thousands of years without human intervention. How do you think they survived without us?

Thanks I'm not trying to fuss at it but just didnt know whether to let it sit in incubator or in brooder but at this point it was in incubator and didnt dry up so I'm hoping the little spot will just shrivel up and be gone soon bc it's definetly not absorbing...but not bigger either. I have one in the bator I can't be opening it up for so hopefully I made the right choice...

Just didnt know if there were any tricks to help it absorb and fast forward to the out of the woods area. :p
