Chick having pain pooping

I have a chick who has stuck poop. Every time I clean it off and I hear her in pain when she tried to poop. The outside is all clean Is it clogged inside? What can I do?

Sometimes that happens. Just keep it clean. It's possible it's a little constipated. They usually straighten out. Make sure it isn't too cool or warm which can lead to pasty butt. Occasionally a chick can have something internally wrong. Nothing you can do about that unfortunately.

I have a little silkie chick that was having issues with stuck poop. I have been having to clean him/her up multiple times a day. The one day in the morning after I cleaned it up she passed a large poop almost the same size as a big chicken. Since then I have been checking on him/her more often to make sure there was nothing stuck.

The last poster said it as good as you can. Keep them clean the best you can. Make sure they are getting to the water also.
