Chick having trouble coming out HELP PLEASE!!

I have a chick that has a pip hole and all kind of cracks around it. I didn't do it. The chick is moving and chirping a lot. I'm worried because its not making progress. Should I take the shell pieces off? Is the membrane dry? Help Please!
Also I have a chick with only a pip hole and the membrane is golden and looks dry. Whats wrong with it and what do I do?

From initial external pip hole it can take up to 24 hours before the chick zips the shell & hatches. During the 24 hours they spend a lot of time resting, absorbing yolk & blood vessels. If they hatch too early can can bleed out if they have not absorbed everything.

So it has zipped but can’t pop the shell off you mean to get out? If it’s zipped but is struggling then yes I would finish it off to get it out.
