Chick help!!!!

I've got 2 questions:

#1) At what age do i put the chicks in the coop i have in the garage???

#2) When can i start giving the chicks grit???

About 4-6 weeks old with a light depending on the night time temps. Grit I don't know about, mine probly get the grit from the ground.

You can start giving them chick grit within the first week. Save the regular grit for when they are pretty much full grown. I would also leave them in the garage until at least 6 weeks if the weather day or night isn't above 60. Just my opinion and I am not an expert on anything except being a slacker.

yep heat is a must for them.

Yes, of course. I keep the pop door closed until they have feathers for draft reasons but they go out for field trips from a young age.
