I seen this and just had to post. I have two chicks in the brooder that are about 4 days old. I put another chick in there that hatched last night and watched to make sur they would get along. The two older chicks took right up with the newbie. The only time they act like ther gonna peck is when they are pulling the shavings off their new lil sister. They have already been taking the youngster and showing her how to peck at the food and drink as well.
