Chick hurt by older chicken

Help! We have chicks in a dog crate in our run. One of our big asshole chickens got one of the little girls and got her really bad I don’t know what to do - BluKote? What are our chances here?

Visible tendon and adipose, no bone.

I feel awful, I thought I had them secure enough

I'd apply antibiotic ointment and keep flies away from the chick.

If you have Veterycen spay and wipe it. If not clean it gently. Ointment like Neosporin will help.

Thanks all….I have added a couple more pics. She’s back in the brooder. Obviously I moved the other babies to a different spot as well.

Is the injured chick separated from the other chicks? They will notice the wound and pick at it… you’re right, they’re assholes…. Cannabalistic ones (I dont think that’s a word but you get it)

Yes she is! She’s in the brooder and her sisters are in our little coop. The big asshole chickens are in the big outdoor coop.
She’s still alive! Lonely but eating and drinking. I hope she survives the night. She’s the sweetest of this year’s chicks. and we have already lost 4/9 of this order…

I’m so sorry for your losses
With it being a superficial wound, as long as you keep it clean - little thing should be just fine! You’re doing just the right thing.
