Chick hurt

It may have gotten its leg stuck in a fence or between boards or something along that line. If it doesn't seem broken to you, then it's sprained or similar at least.

What I'd do is keep it in and off the foot as that needs to rest to heal. In a small box with a screen on top, perhaps, so it can't walk around much. I'd put it on vitamin water, like Poultry Cell and soak it's leg in warm Epsom salt water, or just plain warm water and see if the swelling starts coming down in a day or two. If it does, that's a good sign. If you can get ahold of some adult Vit E and B-complex, you could give it a whole Vit E, but the B-complex 1/4 of one of those. If you can at least get it on that vitamin water, vitamins will really help it heal faster.

I would consider perhaps using like Vetwrap and make a binding to the other leg, leaving a bit of extra distance than normal so that it heals in generally the correct position and doesn't lose muscles while it's healing. It'll force the bird to use that foot instead of drag it, so that's why I'd have it somewhere it can't move around much for a couple of days.
I'm not close to a farm store will this work mixed in with the water?
