Chick ID from a Ornamental Egg Layers Mix from McMurray Hatchery

1. White or Buff Laced Polish (you’ll have to see how it feathers in)
2. Possibly a Silver Spangled Hamburg. What’s its comb type?
3. Silver Laced Polish
4. Golden Laced Polish
5. White Crested Black Polish
6. Possibly a Brown Leghorn?
7. Crevecoeur
8. Maybe a Golden Campine?
9. Golden Penciled Hamburg or Buttercup. Check its comb.
10. Egyptian Fayoumi

And as for the mystery chicks always being boys, so far I’ve gotten two females and one male for my mystery chicks. There’s always a chance!

Ok, so this is chick #2 at 6 weeks. Any guesses now? Lakenvelder seems to be best guess. Several others have changed a bit since the initial post. I'll have some pictures of them up soon.

Definitely looks like a Lakenvelder. It has the correct leg color. Wyandottes have yellow legs, so it can’t be one of those. Does your chick have a single comb?

You’re right. Leg color is definitely wrong for Wyandotte. Lakenvelder best guess so far.

One of the pictures of columbian wyandotte chicks on the Murray's web side had darker legs that where not that yellow or looked like my lavender ops legs that turned slate and was the reason I suggested it.
