Chick in need of a rescue!

It does... I don't know what to tell ya, sorry

HELP! Okay, so he pipped about 2 hours ago, I just had a look and his membrane is a grey/brown colour and looks dry and has a "shrink wrap" effect like you were talking about, what do I do?

The membrane always looks kinda dry. If he just pipped a couple hours he should be good. Don't open the incubator and keep the humidity as high as possible. I've had eggs take anywhere from 12-24 hours between pip and zip

For me this would be time to assist. I would not leave this chick alone because it is likely stuck because of humidity not its own weakness.

I stepped in, and just carefully and slowly removed some of the egg shell, and using a torch to see I even more carefully remove some of the membrane, I was able to lift the head out and the chick then pushed, wiggled around and came out of the egg. He's sitting warm in the incubator to dry. Hopefully he will be okay. Thanks for all the help :)
