We have a three week old bantam that got stepped on by a 6 year old. The bird can limp and stand up enough to eat. What should I be watching for? I don't want the little one to suffer but I'm also not exactly sure of the nature of its injuries. It is holding its left leg up when it moves. When standing it holds the leg up. Flies fine. But for the most part is staying on the ground. Has any had an experience like this? Is something like this survivable?
