Chick introduction with mother to flock

I have 4 laying hens with a broody hen in which we swapped her eggs for day old chicks I purchased. She accepted them 100%. When and how do I introduce them to the other 4 adults? No rooster in the flock. Chicks 2 weeks old now. They have been sharing the same coop but separated by chicken wire fence. The others don't seem to care too much, but they have been a little curious. I don't know where Pip (the mom) is in the pecking order because they all get along fairly well. I'm worried that the others might try and kill the chicks or if Pip will protect them. Any suggestions/advice?? Thanks!

Part and parcel of a hen adopting hatchery chicks is the hen doing all of the baby chicks' heavy fighting for them. Time is wasting. In my opinion you need to combine or fold these chicks into the flock right away.
