I live in Florida. Today I built a smaller chick sized yard next to my big girls yard, so they really met for the first time through a common fence. It was funny. [IMG] The chicks are 2 1/2 weeks old . They are starting to get their feathers, very motly looking. The big girls would come over and look at the chicks then run away then a few minutes go back over to the little chicks and then run back under a tree that is in their yard. The chicks would test their wings and fly somewhat all around their yard stop and look at the big girls. They all looked confused like "who or what are those other birds"? It might have had to be something you had to see it was comical.
