chick is not fluffy?

hi,
Just hatched my first incubator chicks and some of them are cute and fluffy but others have dried crusty. what happened? & what should I do?

Did they hatch less then 24 hours ago? If so, wait until they are at least 24 hours old before doing anything. They may fluff up on their own within that time.

If you can post photos, that often helps. (Of course it can be difficult to take photos through an incubator, so you may not be able to get good ones at the present time.)
 
If it has been over 24 hours and the chick has been in the incubator that whole time. Incubators help dry and fluff them better than a heatlight in the broader.

Use a soft bristle tooth brush and brush lightly. You may need to dampen it but make sure the chick is somewhere warm when doing it.

As said before pending on the time and how long it's been hatched it may just need some time
