Hey everyone,
My 2 month old chick is extremely lethargic and I can't figure out why.
He justs sits in one place with his eyes closed and feathers ruffled. Noticed this behaviour last night after he ate some wild mushrooms and it's progressively getting worse. He has been pooping normally but not drinking and eating. Will force feed him. Any advice will help. Thanks!!

Is the crop full in the morning? Check it first thing before you feed them. It should be empty.

If it's not from the mushroom (or a blocked crop).. coccidiosis is another possibility.. only 1 or 2 out of the 9-11 strains currently known to effect poultry *may* show up as blood in droppings.

Hey guys update, she died and I tried to do Cpr etc.. for 30 minutes but did not work. I don't think it was the mushrooms because all the other chickens ate them and are fine. I think it was coccidiosis but I didn't know they could have such sudden deaths considering she only showed some symptoms last night and died now.

Activated charcoal help absorb toxins, for future note. Though it was likely something else.
Sorry you lost her
Hey again, since the chick died her companion is lonely and all my other chickens are older and are pecking her. The chicks were kept indoors but not idk if I should let the lonely chick out with the others. It is quite cold in the UK and no one is hatching chicks rn. Any suggestions?

How were they introduced to they older ones?
That very much depends on your circumstances, you could let her with the others and see what happens.
