Chick isn't growning

Good am.... I have 11 Cornish meat birds - 5 weeks old. They have all thrived but one. She seems stuck. She hasn't gained her big wings - still has those itty bitty ones. It seems like the only thing on her that has grown has been her butt. She still has the peep yellow on her head. Any thoughts? TIA!

The birds crowded around the feeder was because they ran out of food overnight - so that is why the mad rush around the feeder.


This little bird never grew and at about 5 weeks, it passed away on it's own. I think it had something wrong internally.

That looks EXACTLY like my chick but her but is bulbous butt like the other chicks. She has plenty of access to food as I have 2 different feeders out there for them. It's so odd. I certainly don't think she'll be going to the processors with the other crew. I just wanted to know if I needed to do anything special for her other than what I'm doing.

Just me.but I consider that to be a cull.

Mine had the bulbous rear too. It likely won't make it to maturity.
