Chick just hatched (!!!)

I am so excited! I lifted the broody hen to see if there was any activity... day 21 ~one little black fluff chirping away and five eggs yet to deliver.

I am so excited, oops said that...

What do we need to do for these little gals? I have water, food starter and food for momma...
pine shavings and a separate area in the coop for the new family. Anything else? Do I need to worry about anything??

Congrats on the hatch! I would make sure momma hen keeps the chick safe, as well as the remaining eggs. Unlike ordering from a hatchery, the chicks are very focused on mom, and mom knows what to do to keep them safe. What kind of chicks are they?

Mom is an Easter Egger, the first hatchling is black with white chest and white wing tips. (Bought the eggs from a neighbour I have no roo)
