I'm watching replies with interest, as I have 2 pullets with itchy eys who often keep one lid closed when resting, and the lids seem white, but I can't see anything there, and no one else has gotten 'it'.
I hope your baby is ok

i would think if they have mites they would all be suffering, and i didnt see any nor did the skin look irritated when i held her close

try and get some saline eye wash..not the kind for contac lenses..not the kind that "takes the red out"..just plain eye wash and rinse out the eyes.

get some terramycin eye ointment at feed/farm/livestock store or some pet supply stores...

online source..

click antibiotics in sideboard..then for eyes.

what bedding are you using?

are you giving chick vitamins?

Does it have any egg goop stuck on its head? That would make it do that, especially if it's very young (I didn't see an age?)
