Chick laid a tiny egg?

Roughly a month old, give or take a week

Then it's not one of their eggs.
Someone/thing else laid it.

Can you take a few pictures of your whole set up?

It's not possible for a month old chick to lay an egg.

A quail...maybe but not a chicken chick.

Thats what I thought as well but I only have chickens and the chicks are the only ones who had access to the pen

Sorry for the dust floating about. I checked for any damages that couldve left an opening for anyone, but there are none. I also included a picture of one of the chicks that were in the pen so you can see that theyre still quite young

Wow that's tiny!! I've never known a chick that young to lay a fairy egg. Wild!

That would make more sense than the chick laying it but there isnt a way for a wild bird to get into the brooder
