Chick leg issue.

Hi guys I have a Chocolate Cochin chick with a leg deformity. The mom would not sit in the right nest in the cold weather so her eggs went could and I took them in for incubation. Everyone but one hatched in great health. Initially I thought this was curled toes but I don’t think that’s the case. I have no clue how to deal with this and would like to attempt to do something. Chick is less than a week old. It hold its leg up and walk on one leg. The point where the bones and joints meet has begun to swell. Please! How do I proceed?

It could be a slipped tendon. Usually, it is difficult to treat successfully, and the earlier the better. I would start some b complex vitamins or a chick vitamin that has riboflavin (B2) on the label daily. Can the chick get around well enough to get food and water?
