I have six chicks approximately 6 weeks old. 2 Brown Leghorns, 2 Red Sex-Links and 2 New Hampshires. At least that is what Tractor Supply says. Anyway, the Leghorns were larger than the others and appeared to be a few days older. One of the leghorns is now the largest of the six...fully feathered, roosts more, etc. The other leghorn is ragged. Much smaller, feathers falling out. Her skin is red but otherwise looks fine. She eats, drinks, scratches and does most everything the others do, she just doesn't look healthy. I'll try to attach pics later. Thoughts?

I will wait until I see some pictures...it could be something terrible, or nothing at all.

id wait wait to see what she looks like, in the picture..before i say what could be wrong. it could just be nothing wrong at all.she could just be a little different please post pictures and symptoms if any.

See the difference in size....

She just looks ragged. No real symptoms...maybe a little less active than the others but eating, drinking, scratching seem the same...same poop. Beats me...my first rodeo. Any assistance appreciated.

Wow...that is a huge size difference...perhaps that one is just a tiny, but something very well might be wrong. Try giving some chicken vitamins for a bit and just see how it all goes. That one might just be very small, is it possible those are 2 different breeds? I mean that is a huge difference...

I'm pretty confident they are the same breed. They were exactly the same for several weeks.
