Chick missing a large area of skin after struggle with snake

Poor thing, as long as the chick has a constant person watching it or at least frequent check ups it should be okay just make sure the other chicks are out of harms way aka the snakes mouth

I would cut away the feathers touching the raw flesh so they don't irritate or rub against it. If the flap of skin can be reattached you can try to roll it back over the area. Clean the wound with 10:1 dilution of Dettol. Then cover the exposed raw flesh with polysporin or similar antiseptic salve and let it air dry to form a protective barrier over the raw flesh. Definitely don't let the chick run around outside. Isolate indoors by itself. You will want to see a scab forming first and the scab dried up and on the mend before letting it loose.
