Chick not eating help!!!!!

I got her Saturday, a little EE chick, i only seen her eat like once, she drinks. But i was feeling her up a bit and her crop is empty. She is thin i can feel her bones a bit more then i can her other nest buddy. (Another EE i got the same day) I don't know why she is not eating, she lays around and sleeps alot! I see my chicks alot during the day, it seems all the time she is sleeping in the corner or under the lamp. I never had a chick not eat before! What should i do!?

I'd give some Save-A-Chick if you can or sugar water if you can't. Something liquid to give a little energy so she might get past the shipping/moving stress. How old is this chick?

She is only a few days old. Got her saturday, she is 5 days old

Then it's more likely shipping stress than cocci. I'd give her something ASAP to try to perk her up. They go downhill fast.

Oh, and check her backside to be sure she isn't pasted.

ok so i gave her some save a chick water..she threw up a bit of clear liquid so water...what dose it mean? is something not right with her system?

Hopefully it means she drank more than her crop could hold. I'd keep after her with the enhanced water every hour or two and try some moistened chick feed. Fingers crossed -- I brought back a shocky hen on the brink like this and I hope it works for you.

Update: She will not eat like at all, i keep trying to put some on her beak. In a mash form and she still will not eat it, she shakes it off. What she dose drink is what i give her in a dropper.


Edit: Just now seen your post Debid. Thanks, i have been doing that. trying to get her to eat, she will not though.

Ok, well she still will not eat even when i try and make her by putting it down her throat, she spits it right back up. Even with water she will spit it back up once she had to much. I don't know what is wrong with her at all. She is starving, i can tell, she is so little, so light something is wrong with her, maybe her crop didn't form right or something?

Some help would be great!
