Chick Not Feathering

They are all eating chick starter, in the same brooder. The feed is a bit old, but hasn't gone bad yet. They get occasional treats of yogurt, sometimes hard boiled egg. Gave them some raisins today, the RIR wasn't too into them.

Oops, turns out there are pins on both sides of its chest!

The pins on its wing bases seem to have "branched" out a teeny bit. Whoot for feathering!

Last year I had a columbian wyandotte that refused to feather out for the longest time! I was convinced Roo from what everyone was telling me. Funniest looking chick I ever saw! You can see how far behind she is from her hatchmates of the same age.

Turned out to be a lovely hen...

Isn't it? I was worried she wouldn't feather in time for the cool weather , it took her months!
