i have a chick born on Monday night that has not walked yet. She tries real hard but can't really stand up. She is not eating or drinking yet. Her health looks good but I don't know what I need to do to help her. I dipped her beak in water and showed her food. I also have her separate from the other chicks but one closest to her age hoping she will catch on to watching the older one. Any suggestions or do you think she will be ok in another day or so?

Help she's freaking out. She's flailing round kicking her feet and making lot of noise. It almost looks like she's having a seizure. I don't know what to do. She's trembling too.

How is your baby chick doing now?
She seems to be ok. I'm wondering if she was dehydrated. She's drinking from a dropper but still don't get how to eat the chick feed. I'm not sure if that could have been why she was having seizures if that's what they were

I spoke too soon. I'm not sure what's wrong. She has back to back seizure looking episodes. She has passed out after a few too. I don't think she is going to make it and it's so upsetting to see her have multiple episodes in a row.

Oh, I'm so sorry....I'm new to chicks so unfortunately I don't have any advice. Hopefully someone else can chime in....

Ok update on her condition. The seizures have stopped. She is still not eating the chick feed but eating and drinking when I assist her. She has splayed leg now. She is not getting around much and I don't know if I'm treating her the proper way. Please help. I will include a picture of my treatment using a makeup sponge. She just flops around not standing. This is day one of the sponge we tried bandaid before

How did things turn out? I have two that hatched today and neither are walking. Unlike their 18 siblings.

She's doing ok. She does not walk at all so this has made her a indoor chicken. She will be three months old on the 27 th of July and still looks like she's under a month old. Not sure how her future looks but she makes all kinds of noise. I feel bad for her it's no life for a chicken. But I don't have the heart to get rid of her and won't end her life. I think because she was born early and had the seizures has caused maybe some developmental delay.
