Chick opening and closing mouth

id put a small bit of sugar in their water to boost her energy. and go get her some vetRX asap.
Vetrx is NOT needed.
Leave this chick be...don't be forcing anything in it's mouth.
Don't be massaging it's crop either.

Do you have a thermometer in this brooder?

Very sure. It’s a comfortable 32° C, and the other chick is fine. If this is the case, maybe her black colour makes her hot?
Lower the temperature some.
A few degrees.
Down to 85ish.

VetRX is for supporting chicks upper respiratory functions.
anyone with chicks should have it on hand. also corid and even sav a chick electrolites.
no one said force anything down its throat.
no one said massage its crop. i said to check if it had food in its crop BEFORE there was a video posted because they adjust their crop if it is full.

32c is 89f i would have one side of the brooder about 83f and the other side 89f
this way they can choose the temp they like. but yea she may have asporated water into her lungs. i hope not. :(
I just used my laser thermometer on the bird’s backs. The brown coloured chick was 30°C, but the black one was 34°C. Temp may be the thing. However, it still doesn’t look like panting
