Chick order waiting crew

Hi, I am new to the boards and am new to owning chickens. My Ideal chicks were ordered through a local company. My chicks won't arrive until early May

as I live in "sunny" Vermont.

1- White Leghorn
1- Light Brahma
2- Black Minorcas'
1- Ancona
1- Speckled Sussex Roo

Hello everybody i have been building me a chicken pen and getting ready to place a order with ideal and i noticed that almost all chicks are sold out till the middle of may guess i will have to wait awhile....

Does Ideal call when they ship? Mine were supposed to be shipped out today... and I didnt get a call...

Oh man
I just got an email from MPC saying my chicks will ship May 5th!
I was a little upset seeing as I ordered them in february..
but alas, at least I have something to look forward to.
im getting...
*1 buff laced polish
*1 gold laced polish
*1 white crested black polish
and 2 more of whatever they can scrounge up hahhaa
all pullets^^

Hi everyone! I am new to the forum, and this looked like a sensible place to start...I am sooo excited about getting my babies! I ordered from MPC and they say they will ship June 2nd. A long time to wait, but i know they will be worth it.

I ordered:
2 Rhode Island Reds
2 Buff Orpingtons
1 Australorp
1 Barred Plymouth Rock
1 Golden Layced Wyandotte
1 White Crested Polish

I cant wait!
