Chick order

Hi everyone! I ordered some meat birds (Cornish X) today and a free chick from McMurray Hatchery. I haven’t raised meat birds before, so it should be interesting. I also got a free chick, which I’m pretty excited about, although I want a female it’s likely going to be a male (Both of my last freebies were cockerels). I’m mainly excited to indentify the breed and hopefully raise it up to keep with my standard flock if it’s a good breed and is docile. They will ship Monday and hopefully arrive Wednesday (hopefully without any loses).

Most freebies are cockerels, it helps the hatchery get rid of some.
