Chick outside time

Tomorrows a 25c day with low wind my chicks are 2 weeks old, is it safe to take them out for 30 minutes?
That's 77 F. Absolutely yes. Some people have trouble believing this but just try it. Watch them and see how they do. Trust what you actually see, not what you think you might see.

Chicks are hardier than we think❤️

I completely agree with this, on my first time having chicks I was so nervous about the temperature and all the mixed opinions I saw online.
I took mine out from around 2 weeks, moved them outside permanently at 3 weeks. They were absolutely fine and this was when it was around 16°C.
I’m certain it makes them feather quicker. As long as it’s not raining or extremely windy then I think they’ll be absolutely fine 🙂

To add to this, I’ve just moved mine permanently outside today during British winter at around 4 weeks, they probably could have gone out at 3 weeks. I’ve made them a section of the coop for at night so they don’t get pecked to death, and during the day they are in the same area as the big flock but they keep their distance have plenty of safe areas.
