I have a chick which became paralyzed with curled toes last Tuesday March11. See thread:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...eet-only-on-her-legs-pics-up/20#post_13041103
Now I've been giving her rooster booster for 2 days, and she seems more perky, and up and tries to move but still walking on her hocks with feet curled.
How long does it take for a chick to recover once vitamins are administered? If this is permanent paralysis is my only humane open to put her down? That last question may seem dumb, but I didn't get many hens out of this bunch of chicks and I lost several hens last yr.
Thanks!
