Chick pecked on the eye

About a day or so, I noticed and injury on my chick. The side of the eye looked to be indented, like it had been pecked, and the eyeball was producing some sort of liquid. Any ideas? It doesn’t look bad, but it still concerns me.

You might want to apply a little bit of ophthalmic ointment to the eye.
