Chick pics, this weeks hatch :) (lots of pics)

Thanks! I like taking pics of young chicks while they can't run too far or too fast. When they get older they won't stand still.

This was actually one of the worst hatches (percentage-wise) I've had --- 44 eggs, 27 chicks.
As soon a the chicks started hatching, the humidity jumped to 95% and nothing I tried would bring down below 90%.
I opened a couple of the non-hatchers and it looks like they internally pipped and died, maybe drowned?

That red skinned naked neck chick (and the feather neck NN/S crosses) will go live with my pal, Debi.
I'm trying to breed some BIG dark skinned naked neck birds. My blue Ameraucana roo is the biggest guy here and the green eggs will be an added bonus.
I have this http://usera.imagecave.com/tubersnroots/new_chicks/DSC09256.JPG
splash dark skinned chick from the cross, so that's a start.

Your chicks are so cute! You guys are going to keep posting these newly hatched cuties and I'll end up with an incubator in spite of telling myself that the twelve chicks ordered from Ideal is all I can have!
