Hi Buster! Your silkie - is it a solid color, or does it have some lighter feathers around the chest and backside? I thought mine were black, but they're actually blue.
BTW... can I ask what area of Idaho you're in? I have relatives in Hope (northern) and until they moved to Alta, Wy, my brother was in Driggs... are you close to that area?

I'm in Eastern Idaho, next to Shelley. Driggs is fairly close to me, within an hour or so.

The silkie chick should be a blue- the parents were blues and splashes. I just hate the waiting game to see if it's a pullet or not.
