Chick pipped at wrong end?

So this is my first ever attempt and these are shipped eggs which all had detached air cells. My first egg finally just pipped and it’s at the complete wrong end! I am hatching upright in cartons because that’s what I was instructed to do for shipped eggs by many people. I don’t hear any thing or see any movement but it has just pipped within the last 2 hours. Do I need to do anything??

I would put the pipped side right side up so the chick can hatch, but besides that they should be fine. Chicks pipped at the wrong end normally take about twice as long to hatch, but they do fine normally.

is it okay to open the incubator to do that?

Be as quick as possible and make sure the humidity stays at okay levels, and it should be fine.
