To assist i use tweezers and slowly pull pices of the shell off starting where the air cell is. If there is blood or you see veins wait.
There is a thread on how to i will look it up and post it. You should read it before starting
Alright, I read that post you linked me and it was very helpful! I looked at the membrane and it was yellowish, so it had dried out. I don't believe the chick was getting any air from what I could tell. It had tried to poke through in different spots so I believe it was ready to get air it just couldn't. I carefully pealed back part of the outer membrane where the air cell was, and I was able to see the chicks beak. I'm leaving it alone now to do what it needs to now that It has air. Lord willing it will be able to zip and hatch on it's own.Are all the viens dried up on the membrain and if so assist
