Ok thank youIf it was only off a couple of hours, the chick should be fine. You may have to check to make sure it is not shrink wrapped from the incubator being left open.

No they staggered, day 22 then 2 on 23 then 1 on day 24. I hope nerves ease lol thank youHad all your other ones hatched in 21 days though?
No worries. It gets easier on the nerves as you keep incubating, but I can tell you the excitement of it never ends.
I will thank you. I have put the other 3 back in it’s making me paranoid lol. I candled eggs are full but I cannot see any movement

I would get another thermometer/hygrometer to check your incubator's temperature as that sounds like it was running lower than 99.5F degrees. Govee is a good brand if you're going to search for one. I have four incubators and only one is correct. No they staggered, day 22 then 2 on 23 then 1 on day 24. I hope nerves ease lol thank you
The incubator is usually on 38. Silkies generally hatch Day 21, and I've had a couple as early as Day 18, but for the most part, I see them pipping on Day 20. The two I had that went to 24 days were both flukes out of hundreds of eggs.
