Chick pipped on the side?

My chick pipped the side of the shell. What are my potential problems with this?

3 of mine are pipped side, under and more in the pointy end of the egg..so I don't know what to say to u

I had lots pip on sides and hatch btw, but I do wonder if that is why woe I had to help hatch before...

I should take note for sure this time..if these 3 that are under and on it's side..have harder time to hatch

I guess I will find out soon. Good idea on noting the difference between my others. this stinks. I hate stress.

I had several pip low too. One was horrible with it's beak out and foaming. Very traumatic. Maybe enough to turn me of hatching... it was all fun and exciting, but maybe I'll just buy chicks next time.

I'm sorry. That does sound horrible. This seems to be a pretty good pip. Knocked out a piece of shell. Can see some movement. Hoping it turns out ok.

I have had them pip very low on the shell and still hatch just fine. Don't be tempted to help. One of mine took 34 hours to finally hatch and SURPRIZE! It was upsidedown!! I have no idea how it managed to hatch!
