Good! I thought it looked okay. She's on a washcloth in a Tupperware bowl in the incubator right now until she's a little stronger.

The only thing I do for such bellies is dab a bit of betadine on them.

that small a spot doesn't usually need anything, but like Lazy suggested, betadine is fine. I sometimes dab a bit of Vaseline or Neosporin if its a little larger, or if i feel like it, lol! Main thing is to not let it get yucky with feed or too wet, etc. Once the baby is up and moving around, it'll close right up.

Thanks everyone! I don't have any betadine right now and the closest store that carries it is 30 minutes away so if you guys think it will be okay I'll just leave it be.

wow !! never seen a chick with such big feet ... size 13 ??? No wonder it couldn't turn ..feet were in the way ...no chance of it ever falling over ! What breed is that ?? Hefalunks ?
