One of our 4 day old specked sussex chicks is having problems. Realized it was very lathargic and staggering. When I picked it up it's vent was throbbing/pulsating. Separated it from the other chicks and found that it wasn't pooping. It didn't have paste on the outside but thought it might be blocked on the inside. Did several warm water baths, massage and oiled it's vent. Chick is now pooping but still staggering around. Feeding it sugar water mixed with a bit of ground chick feed with a dropper. Any ideas what is going on and anything else we can do for it?
