Chick question

When my chicks hit the soil I am going to give them sulmet shoud I give them 2 tablespoons for the first two days and then 1 tablespoon for the next 4 days? The bottle does not give clear instructions......

Why are you giving them sulmet? I would just continue to feed them the medicated starter/grower feed. Unless the actually have cocci, I wouldn't medicate them for it.

I also would just go with the medicated feed and not sulmet.

I agree... Do not use it unless you need to "treat".... Use the feed that has an inhibitor... It is Amproline in it which is safer on their system. There are drawbacks to Sulmet... By all means...If they NEED it use it but otherwise... just observe and feed the med feed.
