Actually, I took my camera out to go chill with my chicks and had some left over whole wheat bread with me. This is what happened:

Black Australorps vs. Buff Orpingtons - let the games begin! I had my little mini australian shepherd with me. She was stunned by the whole event and just stood watching in amazement!

Chickens would make the worst poker players! Today one of my pullets found a little inch-worm. She immediately started peeping and running through the flock as if she had found the Comstock Lode! And the was telling them all they weren't gonna get any. Of course a chase ensued lasting several minutes. If she had just quietly eaten her prey none of the others would have known!

Mine will do that when they find a worm. But they are all grown and most weigh 8+ lbs.
