You are correct. The back one is a roo. The front is a hen. Probably 5 weeks and older. But that depends on the breed

Ok thankyou. The larger white one is 8 weeks and the two bigger ones ate 12 weeks and the chicks are 2-3 weeks

Thought so. I've been doing lots of research and thought I had 2 hens. I think my little maran is also female. Not sure on the other chicks but time will tell.

Here is what you need to look for around 10/12+ weeks in cockerels.

(Pointy saddle feathers and large comb and large wattles that are reddening)
