Chick shoes- for Quails?

So during our last round of hatching the power went out. We didn’t know for how long. No more than a couple of hours but I’m seeing a lot of leg and feet problems in this batch of quails. Question is, had anyone tried making shoes or hobbling (taping) the legs of baby quails? They’re soooo much smaller than regular chicks. Does it work?

Well we taped two of them. We’ll see how it goes..
