Chick small cut on kneck

Hi I've a silkie that's 10 weeks old.ot cut its kneck on a bush.only tiny .I stopped the little bleed with tissue, cleaned up up and purple sprayed it .
a couple of days later it had picked the little scab of itself.i cleamed it again and this time lit some leck spray on it so that it tasted horrid...
4 days later its dont it again I saw it do it.
I've now cleaned it again and out a bandage around its kneck.
Is that the best thing?

Can you take some photos of the wound?

You can trim some of the feathers away from the wound to make it easier to see, clean and treat.

I would not bandage the wound unless it's absolutely necessary - could the other chick be picking at the wound?

I saw it do it again this morning .so again washed it and now cut feathers around it.it feets like a lump.not sure if down to swelling.its not bleeding but looks fleshy
It's only small but it wont leave it alone

Could be irritating her.
You may have to put something like Pine Tar on the wound to help deter her from picking at it.
Vet Wrap may help with keeping the dressing stay on.
