Chick Sneezing and Breathing Heavy

I would start lowering the temperature. At 2 weeks, you can probably go down to 85F and see how they do.

Open mouth breathing a lot of times is just panting/too hot. It could be something else since she's sneezing a lot, but chicks can definitely overheat quickly.

Thank you. I’ll raise the light up a bit more.

If that is wood chips in the bottom, then I would change it to a couple of layers of their feed instead. Mine ate the wood and got dust in their lungs at that age. I would put down a couple of layers of paper towels then their feed. Also the feed will teach them to eat it. After about 3 weeks, you could be able to change it back to wood. Hope this helps.

She’s still alive and still sneezing. But seems healthy otherwise. They heavy breathing seems to have calmed down. Her nostrils seem to be a little larger than my other quicks so maybe she gets dust inside more easily?
