Trust me. When you get the hang of it (and yes it's more complicated than just straight stitching and repeating the same pattern) you'll get addicted. I think I made 7 or 8 plushies on the first day I started back crocheting after forgetting about it for a few months. The next day I already had a huge pile of little stuffies. This is why I’m scared to try arigurumi lol, every time I do it I got so frustrated lol. I like to be able to peacefully crochet while watching something but I’ll have to learn eventually I suppose. I do knit a bit, after a few projects it’s not as bad, but some of the tutorials online make learning how HORRIBLE
I usually follow patterns or down load a free graph, with no directions, from a website. I dislike embroidery, I will change the pattern and do color changes instead. I will also change patterns if the work gets too boring. This afghan was to be all chevron, I got bored and put a graphic in the middle.Wow. Do you write your own patterns? This looks so cool!
How do you do you color changes? I find it incredibly frustrating that I have to cut and knot the yarn every time I switch or It will come loose.I usually follow patterns or down load a free graph, with no directions, from a website.
